I have been a licensed child care provider since Jan. of '99. Prior to that I was a Home Health / CNA. I have always been a person who enjoys taking care of others, and I find that my job is a very rewarding one. I have had the same families for many years and am not a provider who wants to "stuff" my wallet or my house. I have a lot of references from past and present parents. I am flexible and relaxed. I do not take a lot of time and know that in today's economy, that is important. I do have a back up for appointments when the need arises. I am on the USDA food program. I do have a fenced in backyard. I have 2 very friendly dogs, (wouldn't have them otherwise), with licensing standards I am current with SIDS, Shaken Baby, First Aid, CPR etc. I do have experience working with children who have disabilities. My house does not have a ramp for wheelchairs, but I have had a child who used one in the past and am willing to do heavy lifting. I also have experience with minor behavioral challenges. My rates are considered competitive, my hours are 7am to 5pm with flexibility on the latter. I am the mother of 2 boys, ages 11 and 13.
